The era of 24 coming to a end.

The wonderful CTU based show is officially in its final season. Its kind of sad and seems to be marking the end of an era where Americans cared about terrorism and fighting it. But now no one cares even though the war continues. Its interesting though how these things happen in TV. In the 90's you had all kinds of shows about apocalyptic destruction and conspiracy theory and stuff like that because of the year 2000 drawing close. Television really is a reflection of society because it shows us what kinds of topics we are interested in. Oh well, it was a good run and an entertaining show. Maybe Jack can finally retire and go have a life. And I hope this isn't the last we see of Kiefer Sutherland.

Chris Nolan to make a Superman Movie

Not sure how I feel about this one. I haven't really been a fan of Superman since I was a kid. The latest movie was pretty good too. But Chris Nolan is known for the darkness of his films. That's why he's done such an awesome job with Batman. But I don't really see Superman as a dark story. Unless he makes a Batman vs. Superman movie! Now that would be cool :) Of course I doubted Chris on casting Heath Ledger as The Joker too so what do I know. Here's the source for the news.
